Born in 1991, Elisa studied Philosophy at the University of Milan and later earned a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2016. In 2018 she graduated at the documentary filmmaking course at Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti in Milan. Since 2020, she has worked as a freelance filmmaker, participating in various film residencies (including Werner Herzog: Filming on a Strange Planet) and working as a production assistant in Paris and Lugano. She directed Anaklia (2022, 34th São Paulo International Short Film Festival, Journées de Soleure, FEST Film Festival) and Les choses qui résistent à l’épreuve du temps (2023, VideoEx).
