You can purchase a Festival Pass either online through our website or on-site at the Festival Info Points, which will be open starting August 4.
Please note that some passes require the presentation of an official ID and/or Student ID.

You will need to provide the first and last name used for the purchase, along with the purchase date (if known), so that we can retrieve your purchase confirmation and your codes.
Festival Passes are nominative. If, for any reason, you can no longer attend the Festival and would like to transfer your pass, please contact us at customer@locarnofestival.ch by July 31st at the latest. After July 31st, Festival Passes will no longer be transferable.
Festival Passes are non-refundable, except in cases of proven health reasons.
For security purposes, the Locarno Film Festival reserves the right to conduct regular checks of Pass holders. Please ensure you carry an official ID with you at all times.
Please note that seats are not numbered or assigned in advance. You can choose your seat spontaneously once inside the theater or in the Regular Sector of Piazza Grande.
Admission to all venues will not be allowed after the screening has started.

You will need to provide the first and last name used for the purchase, along with the purchase date (if known), so that we can retrieve your purchase confirmation and your booking code.
Your Pass allows you to book unlimited tickets. However, please note that you cannot book more than one ticket for the same screening and you cannot book seats for concurrent screenings.
If you are unable to attend a screening, please cancel your booking in advance so that someone else can enjoy the film.
Please note that after three no-shows (i.e., if the booking has not been canceled), the Festival may block your Pass and cancel all bookings.

You can collect your physical badge at the main Info Point in Piazza Grande starting from August 4. Please show the receipt you received in your confirmation email after purchase.

Your digital badge will be available in your personal dashboard on the Locarno Film Festival website, accessible starting mid-July. If you don't have an account yet, you will need to create one.

For Piazza Grande screenings—including the simultaneous screening at Palexpo (FEVI)—no booking is required. Gates open at 8 PM, and you only need to show your physical or digital pass to enter.
