After World War II, Britain had to embark on the rocky road to national reconstruction and revival. Showing the cultural response by the nation's filmmakers, writers, producers, performers and studios, our wide-ranging Retrospective of British cinema of that period will be a key part of the 78ᵗʰ Locarno Film Festival.
