Request

You can request a Locarno Network accreditation online through our website, as a stand-alone or as an extension to a Professional accreditation.

The deadline for online accreditation requests is August 1 at 12:00 AM CEST. Locarno Network accreditations requests are not subject to a late fee.

Yes, last-minute accreditations can be requested on-site at the Accreditation Desks at the Festival Center (Piazza Grande, Palazzo Sopracenerina SES) starting from August 5. We recommend, however, that you apply online by August 1st, as this will allow for a quicker and more convenient processing of your request.

You will need to provide your first and last name, type of accreditation requested, along with the submission date (if known), so that we can retrieve your entry form.

Processing accreditation requests can take several weeks due to the high volume of applications we receive. Our team is committed to reviewing them as quickly as possible. We kindly ask you to refrain from following up unless strictly necessary.

Benefits & Resources

The accreditation provides access to the Who’s Who app, offering an overview of all Locarno Network members, with the possibility to contact them directly within the app, book meeting rooms, and more.

Badge

You can collect your physical badge at the Accreditation Desks at the Festival Center (Piazza Grande, Palazzo Sopracenerina SES), starting from August 5. Please show the accreditation confirmation email.

Check the spam folder. If it's not there, please contact us at customer@locarnofestival.ch.

You will need to provide your first and last name, type of accreditation requested, along with the submission date (if known), so that we can retrieve your entry form.

Accreditations are nominative. Any misuse of the accreditation will result in its immediate revocation.
If, for any reason, you can no longer attend the Festival, please contact us at public.affairs@locarnofestival.ch by July 31st at the latest.

Accreditations are non-refundable, except in cases of proven health reasons.

For security purposes, the Locarno Film Festival reserves the right to conduct regular checks of accreditation holders. Please ensure you carry an official ID with you at all times.

The Locarno Network accreditation, as a stand-alone, does not grant access to screenings; it provides access only if purchased as an add-on to a Professional accreditation.
