Michela Pini

Michela Pini graduated in Cinema Studies from a university in Italy.
In 2007, she founded Cinédokké in Lugano. She produced Cronofobia by Francesco Rizzi (Special Jury Prize at Tallinn Black Nights 2018; Best Director and Best Screenplay at the Max Ophüls Film Festival 2019) and Love Me Tender by Klaudia Reynicke (selected, among others, for Locarno, Toronto IFF, and BFI London FF) — two highlights among the emerging voices of Swiss cinema. She is also producer of Unrest by Cyril Schäublin (Best Director, Berlinale Encounters 2022).
Recently, she produced Semret by Caterina Mona and Electric Child by Simon Jaquemet (Piazza Grande, Locarno 2022–2024).
Her recent minority co-productions include Still Air (Ariaferma) by Leonardo Di Costanzo (11 David di Donatello nominations in 2022, including Best Producer for Michela Pini) and La Chimera by Alice Rohrwacher.
