Betelgeuse
by Loic Pidoux, Fiction, 23’, 2024
Marlo is cook and a wannabe filmmaker who is trying to set all things ephemeral on to hard disks. Eloïse is an actress who goes to endless auditions while she's still young enough. Finally, Liam is a musician who is obsessed with jazz and locks himself up in a world of music and joints. The film explores these three diverse existences that are trying to find their place in a changing world, under the undisturbed glow of the remnants of the Betelgeuse supernova.
Sous la table
by Mariam Bitsadze, Fiction, MA ECAL – HEAD, 13’, 2025
A group of young people from different countries gather in a countryside workshop house for a creative residency. Over the course of one evening, conversations unfold around the dinner table—ranging from politics to everyday frustrations. A Romanian folk song plays, memories surface, and silent tensions grow. While discussions appear casual, deeper questions about identity, power, and connection quietly emerge.
Sous la table is a minimalist ensemble film where the unsaid carries as much weight as the spoken word.
