Locarno Kids Screenings
A selection devoted to younger audiences, a journey of cinematic initiation through films intended for their age group: national and world premieres, but also awesome classics from the past, rediscoveries in the realm of animation and premieres of films made for the entire family. With an added tribute to a special guest: the Locarno Kids Award la Mobiliare, which is an award given to a personality capable of bringing cinema to the youngest audience. The program also features workshops and encounters conducted by our educational partners: SUPSI - Department of Education and Learning, Castellinaria Festival del cinema giovane, RSI Radiotelevisione svizzera, WWF, LAC edu, Cinemagia (ggl), La Lanterna Magica, FilmKids, and Lern Film Festival.
